Guest guest
Dearest : I know that this must be a difficult time for you, but this is a time of healing. You are so young, you can have a baby when your doctor thinks that it is safe. Your doctor should check your thyroid because most of us have developed thyroid problems after having breast implants. , I learned a long time ago to make a list of questions for my doctor. Most of us are afraid to ask questions, but if you give him a short list, he will answer them for you. When I go to my doctor, he asks me where my list is. He makes a joke of it, but he is a wonderful doctor. They know that it is important that their patient be informed. Take care dear one...Love...Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~```` Can anyone answer my question here > > > > > > > > > > > > > Do you think my weight gain could be related to a thyroid > disease? Guest guest
Thanks Lea I know it seems I am a bit frantic to have a baby. Part of it is that I am in love so much with my husband and want to experience having a baby in a loving relationship not like the first one i had. The second reason is because i wanted a baby 2 years ago but was afraid to with the implants, and just did not have the guts to explant at that time. When I finally was ready I knew that after they were gone I wanted to start on my family right away. My DH is almost done with grad school and will be getting a higher paying job and we will probably have at least 2 more kids. I love being a wife and mother. I am blessed that we can afford to do this. Our future is bright and I plan on 2 more kids, but lets face it I am 35 and by the time 40 rolls around I want to be done having babies. The risks of birth defects and problems just goes up with age. I realize to some it seems silly, or even selfish of me. But, I was not ill. I do think I may have a thyroid issue but from all I have been reading on this site, and the other girl with major illness and thyroid problems is pregnant, so I think I can do this without that many risks. I am going to UCSF to see the best endocrine Dr in the area. My husband and family Dr both agree that I need more testing, and that UCSF is the best in my area. I want what is best for the baby but I also want what is best for me. So I will get the more extensive testing and if it all is ok then I will go ahead and start working on the baby. I want to be healed from my surgery too, and lose the wieght I have to lose at least 20 pounds. I want to be at a healthy weight and then get pregnant I think that is also best don't you?Lea your a wonderful person, I appreciate your kindness and help. thank you Lea <devans@...> wrote: Dearest : I know that this must be a difficult time for you, but this is a time ofhealing. Guest guest
Sweet : I want to thank for the kind words. Another thing that I would like to share with you is that my daughter-in-law is a lawyer. She did not have our two beautiful grandchildren until she was in her late thirties. Both are fine and she has a Nanny and continues to go into the firm two days a week. They were worried too, because of her age. My Auntie had a baby when she was 48 years old, so please don't worry. Much love....Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~````` Can anyone answer my question here > > > > > > > > > > > > > Do you think my weight gain could be related to a thyroid > disease? Guest guest
, you are not selfish, because it is normal to want to have a baby with the man you love. We all love you, and we don't want to see you get hurt again. I had all my children before I was 26 years old. Children are the love of my life, and being a mother is such a joy, but being a young Grandma is fun too. I think that once you are feeling better, the weight will come off. You have changed your e-mail, I hope this means that you are not as sad as you were. I'm going to finish decorating our Christmas tree tonight. We put one in our bedroom because I spend so much time there. We have a small tree in our dining room, and another big tree in the family room. This is my favourite time of year, and we try to make everything pretty. This is so important for women who have had their lives destroyed by these deadly devices. Sending lots of love to all....Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~````` Can anyone answer my question here > > > > > > > > > > > > > Do you think my weight gain could be related to a thyroid > disease?
