Hi , and all you other wonderful ladies,

I feel so bad that I have not been able to answer any of the posts,

but at the same time, I am so encouraged by all the support that you

and the other ladies all have been offering to one another. I have

often wanted to jump in here and share some encouraging comments,

but just have been overwhelmed with too much work to do and not

enough time. I know that almost all of us are in that same boat.

Life is just really busy! And this time of year makes it doubly

hard. So, I am so thankful for all of you, and am so excited to

hear news that is good and encouraging and uplifting. It is not

always that way for everyone, as I know there are some new members

out there just finding out the tragedy of what implants have done to

them, and some of you out there that are still struggling with

serious health concerns. But I am so thankful for the good stories

too.....Pam, I am excited for your new job! And , I am ticked

pink about your pregnancy. Christy, I am so happy that you are

healing well after explant. We need these good praise reports to

know that we can have better days to look forward to. Rogene,

you've been awesome in your support, and Kathy, your posts are right

on and so informative. I can't name everyone, so let me just say I

am really thankful for all of you.

I try to read as many of the posts as I can, and for all of the new

ladies here, I know how hard this whole thing is when you realize

that your implants are the source of your declining health, but

nobody in the medical field seems to have any answers that help you.

There is much new information that you need to digest and act upon,

and I know it can be overwhelming, but stay the course...there is

great hope for a better future.

These thyroid issues seem to be all over the place, don't they? I

am waiting until the new year to go get my thyroid tested again. I

really need it, as I have been very bad about keeping up with my

thyroid meds. I was feeling so good there for awhile that I could

almost say I didn't need it...that's my mistake. I wanted to say I

was all better, but actually I really do need to be more vigilant

with my thyroid. Thyroid issues are very complex, aren't they,

! You've been such a good girl with taking care of

things...you're a great example to all of us. You've learned so

much, and that is what is important. I think we are all much more

expert on our own bodies than any doctors are.

Shari, your experience seems to be following mine....my thyroid

tested fine for about 4 years, and then finally one summer, oops,

here we are with Hashimoto's, how about that?? I wouldn't be

surprised if that ends up being your case as well. I hope not, but

I was saddened to hear that your blood is now off where the thyroid

is concerned. Welcome to the club of thyroid malfunction due to

implants! It's not impossible to keep it under control, but well,

it will take some effort on your part. You're definitely not alone

there.

I will be continuing to keep all of you in my prayers, and I do hope

you all have a blessed holiday season. There is really so much to

be thankful for. I hope to be able to write more when things settle

down here, but please feel free to write me personally if you need

to.

God bless all,

Love,

Patty
