Hi friends, Once again I want to crow about my granddaughter Ryenn.Some oldies

know all about her,but I am so proud of her I can hardly stand it.My daughter

and her family moved across the state (michigan) last July.Now at the

time Ryenn was about to start her junior year in High School.So now you kinda

know what a short timeline it is.Today, Ryenn was asked to sing America the

Beautiful at the end of the parade in their local park.She is also competing in

State finals for Solo and Ensemble on Saturday.I couldn't be more proud of

her.She has to sing one song in English and one in a foreign language,so she is

singing an Italian Opera and Black Bird by the beatles.Thanks so much for

reading this,I am so happy for her. Love Elly

Please send my personal congrats. I know how wonderful a feeling it is

as my eldest daughter was a singer and played flute. She has been to State

several times

as well as played in several state honor choirs and band.

Wow I can understand just how proud you are of Ryenn (what an unusual name)you

can never put into words that feeling.

I can remember when my son was about 10 he changed the lyrics of Annies Song to

suit the wedding of our eldest son and

played his guitar and sang it there was silence from all the guests it was so

beautiful and I was so choked up I

couldn't eat or speak and the latter is unheard of!!

Just wanted to congratulate Ryenn and hope she continues to do well.
