I don't know about the lactose issue. . . I can't see

where it would be a problem because acidopholis has

nothing to do with milk products. . . It's real live

friendly bacteria in capsules.

To get good acidopholis, buy it from the refrigerated

section of a health food store.

Anytime you're taking an anti-fungal, it's important

to drink plenty of water to flush the toxins caused by

the yeast die-off. Even grapefruit seed extract can

cause liver problems (like prescription anti-fungals)

if not used properly.

Rogene,

I read what you posted about grapefruit seed extract and liver problems, I take I pill equal to 15drops 4 times a week for almost a year. How long can it be taken for ? Is it harmful?

Barby,

If you're not having problems now, you're not likely

to have a problem . . . As I understand it, liver

problems occur when you have a really large Candida

die-off hitting the liver faster than it process the

toxins.

It sounds as though you've found a good way to manage

it the grapefruit extract. Most of these products

recommend easing into the full dose . . i.e. Primal

Defense starts with one pill and adds one more pill a

day until one is taking 6-8 pills a day.

Hugs,

Rogene
