Guest guest
Has anyone used the " DAN " therapy center in Houston to do Tomatis therapy? If so, please share your experience. Thanks,
Guest guest
Actually, I know there are a lot of people who have done it. My son is only 3 and I can't get him to sit still for it, but when he gets older, he is going to get it. If you ever watched a presentation, you would understand how critical it is for autistic children to be checked. It's a simple as understanding a dog whistle. You and I cannot hear it because it is on another frequency, and is very loud to them. To our autistic children, they hear a 'dog whistle' and go crazy, while we may hear a slight hum. > > Has anyone used the " DAN " therapy center in Houston to do Tomatis therapy? Guest guest
They have responded to me several times by email. Try again, and see if you can get something. They may have a spam filter on, and for some reason it put you in a junk email. That has happened to me before on my hotmail account. > > > > Has anyone used the " DAN " therapy center in Houston to do Tomatis > therapy? If so, please share your experience. Guest guest
You don't have to worry about your son to keep still. The headphones that they use at DAN center have long cords so if the child wants to explore the place he may do so. My kids are 3 y/o too. The first time they had it on, they were very busy roaming around. By the time we finished the first loop ( a total of 31 sessions) they can engage in an activity, more focused and respond to their names better. Aside from the fact that Dan and at the DAN center are wonderful to work with. They are very supportive. I learned a lot from . She's an occupational therapist. We will be back in about 2 months for our next session. Eloisa Eloy Subject: Re: Tomatis...
