Guest guest
denial is one of the steps we all go threw . anger is also one as is acseptance. some move faster then others and some can get stuck along the way. one trick is print out a post or two and leave it were he will see it and maybe read it and let that be it tell he brings it up. Guest guest
Wow ! Looks like you hit the worry nerve of the group. Honey, accepting AOSD is one thing, blacking out is something else entirely. Just a thought, though, has your son changed his way of eating, his diet, in anyway? Has been taking any herbel remedies or vitamins that he's never taken before? The reason I'm asking, and I haven't read all the posts yet so this might have been touched upon, is because some herbs have adverse reactions with some medications. Not knowing what you're son is taking for the AOSD I wouldn't be able to say, 'oh, that's why'. Or at least guide you to someone or someplace to get information. I'm with everyone else, however, in that the doctor needs to know. If this is a one time thing or more, the doctor needs to know and perhaps a trip to the ER is in order. At least CALL the doctor and let him/her know what's going on. I know it's Sunday but that's what you pay the doctor for. By the way, you might see a lot of " it's not common " when it comes to this illness but bare in mind none of us are exactly the same, none of us have the same exact symptoms; some of us have things that others don't or didn't so please don't be too thrown off by such a statement. Please keep us informed and email me personally if you wish, I'm always available somehow, someway. Take care and be well. Ellen
