Guest guest
Dear Ladies, Cleo had a massive bleed yesterday (nearly all day). After spending all afternoon at the vet -- once he was open, the tests revealed that she has cancer of her nasal cavity and has just a few weeks left. As she already has had severe arthritis for some time and can hardly walk, I asked if something can be given to her for pain. The vet said that she cannot be given pain meds as they would make her more likely to bleed again. We are already giving her glucosamine, chondroitin and MSM. I just brought her home some beef liver, which the vet said to cook her to help her body deal with the blood loss. If anyone has any ideas on something I can do to make her more comfortable, please let me know. Sorry to be sharing such sad news at the holidays.
