Guest guest
I am in so much pain. I think my right implant is leaking. I don't want to be such a complainer on New Years Eve but I have no one else to talk to right now. My daughter is with freinds and I don't want to burden her with my implant problems. My son is finally asleep and hopefully he will stay in bed tonight. he has been doing so good with his medication that I am not going to take him off it until I can get myself in better condition to care for him. I have a burning sensation in my right chest and arm.It feels so painful that I have been taking everything in my medicine cabinet and nothing is working. Does anyone know what this could be and how I can stop the pain or at least make it easier to cope with? I have not slept all night just laying in bed tossing and turning and afraid if I make noise I might wake up my son and then have to entertain him. I know it sounds selfish but, I can't take care of him the way I shoudl right now. He is only 5 years old, it is so hard. I know he cannot understand. What can I do to help myself before my explant? I need ideas that are not expensive because I have no money, I am desperate to try some natural things but at this time unless it is covered by insurance I can't do it. So far the Dr's I have seen have been kind but, all they do is give me medication, sometimes it helps, other times it seems to do nothing at all. I have my explant set with Dr Melmed, almost. I will do it as soon as I can file and get my tax refund. Please can everyone just say a prayer for me and my family that I will be able to recover from this. Also if my silicone implant is leaking what are the odds that it will remain in the capsule? Thank you all for helping me Annie
Guest guest
Annie, We are out here and we can feel your pain! I hope you can feel our positive energy coming your way this New Years Eve. I said a prayer that the Lord would provide you with a peaceful nights sleep, and the means to get your implants out as soon as possible. I too prayed the same prayer a month ago, and was so thankful when everything fell into place. Mine were saline not silicone and I don't think they were leaking, so I can't answer your question in regards to the odds of the silicone leakage remaining in the capsule. Bless you and your family. You will get better and we will be here to listen and share in your recovery. Tammy (a) > > I am in so much pain. I think my right implant is leaking. Guest guest
Dear Annie, I hope you've found some relief by now! . . . Some things that can help . . . asprin can help the pain. Hot baths can help you relax. Soaking in Epsom salt baths can help you relax and detox. Drinking plenty of non-chlorinated water will help flush toxins too. One herbal that may sound expensive is Oil of Orgegano. It's used by the drop, so even though a bottle is somewhat expensive (I think I paid $28 for a bottle), it lasts a long time. It can help with bacterial/fungal problems. It goes down easy in orange juice. I have no idea how you would know the odds that a rupture would be extracapsular. . . The odds would be higher if you've a experienced blow to the chest, a change after a mammogram, etc. Regardless, I know that Dr. Melmed will do the best possible job for you! Eating right is very important right now . . . No sugar minimal refined grains, like white bread and pasta, eliminate coffee/caffine. Eat fruits and vegetables, avoid junk food. Get sufficient sleep. . . Keeping stress and anger under control is very important! . . .Yeh! with kids too? . . . I know! But do the best you can! Patty has found that coffee enemas help flush toxins . .. . she has a protocol for fasting and coffee enemas in the archives. All in all Annie, be good to yourself! Claim some time for yourself for meditation and prayer. God will get you through this and you will be stronger for it. We're thinking of you and praying for you. Hugs and prayers, Rogene
Guest guest
Annie, I'm so sorry that you are in pain. The only thing I can think of is if the area is hot than you may have an infection. If that's the case then maybe you can go to your local doc and get some antibiotics. I'm so glad you are going to Dr. Melmed. I have never heard anything bad about him and he really understands that implants make women sick If nothing else why don't you call him and see if he can give you some suggestions. Will you be able to file your taxes now that it is the new year? With electronic filing you should be able to speed it up. Love, Anita P.S. try to drink lots of clean water. Happy New Year, but please can someone help me I am in so much pain. I think my right implant is leaking. Guest guest
Kate, I don't know your situation, but I've found that burning pain is helped by a small dose of Effexor. I divide a 75 mg capsule into fourths, then take 1 each morning and night. It's looking as though I might get by with one a day. I had to go off all meds/supplements for a couple days for a test and didn't get back to them for a week. . . It was only after a week that the burning started again. I have a condition called Erythromelagia. The result is a sensation of burning in my feet. . . For long-term suffers it can be much, much worse. Effexor blocks a certain nerve pathway that sends burning pain messages to the brain. . . . I don't know that it would work for you, but it's worth a try! Guest guest
dear annie I just said a prayer for you. I hope and pray that 2005 will be a much better year foryou and I think after your surgery with dr melmed that things will definitely be looking up. Some cheaper things you can do to help your body would be to try to do some cleansing with lemons which are very detoxifying and alkalinizing. I take the olive oil lemon drink and find it cuts pain. I use a tbsp of olive oil (organic and virgin) and put that with a whole lemon that has been juiced or just squeezed. If you can't stand the taste, you can add a little organic real maple syrup and then it tastes just fine. You can do this 3 times a day. Lemons and olive oil can also be used in liver cleanses and they are very good also. You also could try some organic coffee enemas. They can help with pain and help detoxify. Sweating can help detoxify. Clay baths are very detoxifying. Epsom salts and baking soda in bath water can be detoxifying. I would try juicing, fasting etc. Drink lots--at least 8-12 glasses a day of pure water. Try to eat raw foods- organic if possible--every day. Stay away from animal fats, grains, and starches and cut down on dairy especially if it isn't organic. There are some helpful supplements but they all cost money. Some of the cheaper but better ones in my opinion are: liquid oil of oregano. I think mine was like $22 and lasts for a couple of months. You can put 3-4 drops in some water several times a day. Oil of oregano kills alot of pathogens. Primal defense can be bought for $27 a jar on line with free shipping if you order 2 of them and it is an excellent product. STay away from sugar and eat small amounts--grazing --instead of larger meals. Try to get some exercising --at least stretching and walking if nothing else-- everyday. Good luck to you and I will be thinking of you. Hugs, kathy > > I am in so much pain. I think my right implant is leaking.
