Guest guest
I agree that we are chemically poisoned or overloaded. What I found particulary fascinating in this book was its common sense approach to all of this. We had a chronicall ill child (probably due to my platinum leaking double lumen implants I have recently learned) -- during his yrs of treatment at the Children's Medical Ctr his drs referred to some of his problems as being those of someone who was environmentally or globally allergic. They had me keep him on an all organic diet (with fresh garlic every day), boil his water every day, give him acidophillus (plant derived), citrus bioflavonoids and chlorophyll in addition to an organic multivitamin with large amounts of Vits C, E, all Bs and trace minerals like zinc (we got extra zinc besides) and selenium. Sounds a lot like what this book recommends, doesn't it. I have been taking notes on the supplements she recommends and look forward to starting on the program as soon as my explant surgery is scheduled. I also fully intend to go to a different gym -- one with an infrared sauna for about a year after my explant. Another tip from Keeling: whenever you work out (and you want to do so at a level that makes you sweat), be sure to shower and change into clean clothes as soon as you have finished working out so your body cannot re-absorb the toxins you just sweated out. Guest guest
lu, That's a good point about changing clothes. I'm sorry to hear about your son. How is he doing now? I think the sauna will remove a lot of things that even diet can't address. I just found out that a health club is opening right next to my office and they are installing two infrared saunas!!! I am going to do a month to month membership and see how I do. I think it will take me a year going every other day to get everything out. Good luck on your explant, hugs, Beth > > > > > > > > Have any of you read Dr. Sherry 's, M.D., " Detox or Die " > I > > > > just finished it.
