Guest guest
Dear , The ladies in the group whose children have affected, that I know about, are (goingtolunch), Shari and Anita. You've heard from . They can tell you what their experience was/is better than I can. Apparently 's son is doing well now. She had to keep him on an extremely strict organic diet for years. Anita's son is having a very difficult time. tried to give one medical institution information about the effects of platinum . . . They refused to take the information. This institution is participating in the cohesive gel study. I'm sure there are many more affected children whose mothers are lurking. But, they will have to speak for themselves. I wish they would! Maybe after the Holidays more will speak up. It's been a little slow here lately. One woman, ey, (she doesn't belong to this group) had four children after getting her implants. All were affected, but the youngest is terribly ill and may not live to adulthood. has been an outspoken advocate for children's studies. . . Unfortunately the FDA saw fit to block her emails from coming to their offices. Does that say anything about the FDA's bias? Guest guest
Dear - Our experience is different and more frightening for implanted women as our son was affected by the platinum and silcone in my body during the pregnancy -- not from breastfeeding afterward (I had a double mastectomy/reconstruction w/double lumen implants 5 yrs before this pregnancy). He was born very, (desperately) ill and stayed very ill for many yrs with several very rare disorders. If you want more info on this, email me with your questions and I will give you more details. Yes, sadly I did try to send a copy of the platinum study to his hospital -- and they were not interested in seeing it -- though they are interested in trying to prove the cohesive gel implants are safe instead. I welcome your interest in all this. Regards, (lu) > > > > > Thank you for both your replies. Guest guest
All my thoughts and hopes are with all of you. I did not know of alot of these instances and I thank you for informing me. I am going to start keeping a record of stuff so I can begin compiling information. I will get back to a couple of you for sure once I have had the time to go over the information and start formulating some more ideas in my head. I would be doing this sooner but it is getting REALY hectic around here (as I am sure it is for you guys as well). Happy holidays to everyone.
