Guest guest
Good stuff, Kanta! I delight in Brezny's Freewill Astrology. Brillant guy. I also miss the presence of chants in my life. I used to have the most wonderful Kriyananda lp, I loved so -- and sang along with often. "Listen, listen, listen to my heart sing...listen, listen, listen to my heart sing...I will never forget you, I will never forsake you, I will never forget you, I will never forsake you, Listen, listen, listen to my heart sing..." So comforting, pacifying. Had an unusually bad night last night -- spiritual attacks which became predominatly female, vicious, killing -- killing -- killing -- dark, angry, mean, violent, CRAZY! It got to the point, I snapped into lucid dreaming to take control of all the cutting, slicing, peircing, stabbing going on -- telling them I am a child of the Universe and just because I don't understand God doesn't mean I don't have God's protection. Something I felt I needed to tell them. I'd tried and tried to escape these attackers (of each other and threat to me and mine). They were demonic! I got up and laid down in another room. Hard to shake those enemies, but I prayed my way back to sleep and finally awoke to pleasant dreams. ----- Original Message ----- From: art4spirit Sent: Wednesday, June 06, 2007 9:26 AM Subject: [] more about the power of words Words SO have weight. Or Lightness. Your subconscious mind hears everything you say. This means you body hears everything you say, and so does your deep emotional self, which lives in every cell of your body...This is especially true when you are not paying attention. Just waking up, zoning out, in a hurry, driving your car, or getting sleepy at the end of the day. Or very very open and yet not maintaining some sort of observing presence at the same time. Any time you're very open the words go deeper and tend to lodge. So, be especially mindful of how you talk to yourself when you are in these hypnogogic states. Since we are all part of a whole, what we say, or even say as we subvocalize, think words to ourselves...influences the state of all that we are as a human family. So, if you speak kindly to yourself or to another person, you lift up the collective vibration with your words.May you speak sweetly today, words of comfort, of praise, of good humor, of kindness. And may these healing words bring light and love into your heart and the heart of all humanity. You might experiment with singing words. When I was a kid, I used to sing sacred music in a choir. Later, as a yogi and meditator and meditation teacher, I sang Sanskrit chants. The music opened me up and the words anchored Beauty, Peace and Love in my being. This week's homework assignment from Rob Bregzny (Freewill Astroloy on myspace) is to sing a rousing song every day for a week and report back to him the outcome. What an amazing idea! I'm looking forward to reading some of his collected comments.Suggestion on how to develop the habit of Communicating from the heart: Read "Nonviolent Communication" by Marshall Rosenburg.
