Guest guest
One pair...right, lol. That's how I am. And one jacket that I've had for 15 years and still looks new! That's South Texas for ya. Are you feeling better? Sometimes it's hard to tell with your bright smiling 'face';-) Have a wonderful day... will come through just fine. in TX

Guest guest
It's a busy one for me as well Ellen, My mother just got out of the hospital last week, so I've been staying up there in Kerrville (about 60 miles north of my house) for 2 days, then come home for 1. It's her lungs and heart...my brother and his wife came on Saturday, so they stayed with her this weekend, but I'm getting ready to head up that way this morning. Her 83rd birthday is tomorrow and she's going to have all 3 of her children with her. She's delighted about that. Then my oldest brother and his wife will leave on Wed...and I'll be doing Thanksgiving at Mom's house on Thursday. Mom offered to go out or bring in a turkey, but somehow I'm just not ready to give up home cooking right now. Lost too much else recently and I need at least that tradition to resemble some sort of normalcy. I won't go crazy though, that's for sure...just the basics. Meanwhile, I've applied for unemployement insurance and will be applying for SSDI this week. So it's going to be a busy week...hopefully Mom will start feeling better with the new medications they gave her. Get this....they prescribed VIAGRA for her...to help open the capillaries to her lungs. But the insurance denied her coverage. It was going to cost her $1300 for a month's worth of pills...whereas they would cover it if it was for a man's ED. Apparently the insurance companies think sex is more important than breathing. I've been fighting that all week...hopefully the script will get in today. Now you, dear friend, take care of your back! Your boys will love whatever you get them...even if it's a card and a promise. You do for them every day and they know it and appreciate you I'm sure! Who wouldn't! Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone if I don't get back to wish you that again! Love you all! in TX ----- Original Message -----
