We lost the littlest puppy on Saturday. She was doing so well the day

before, but we found there was something physically wrong with her.

I don't know what and neither does the vet. She looked like she was

going to pop. She had so much air in her tummy and there was no way

to tell where it was coming from. The vet guessed there was a hole

somewhere in her intestinal tract. She stopped eating again and

started to cry non stop. After about 5 minutes of her crying I

couldn't take it and I took her to the vet to be put to sleep. I

couldn't see her suffer like that a second longer. It was very sad

to see her go, but the mama dog (peanut) was so relieved, she went

right back to her normal self - running around and playing and

eating everything in sight. I think she was depressed and upset over

the little one being sick. She knew from the beginning that

something was wrong. We didn't know because all the puppies seemed

to be in danger.

The other three puppies are doing great. They have doubled their

birthweight and are thriving well. Thank you all for your prayers

over this last week. I know some of you probably think this is the

silliest thing to pray for, but God loves the little animals too.

I'm also excited about starting my new job tomorrow. It's going to

be so nice to get dressed up and get out of the house. Thanks for

all your prayers and well wishes for my job too. Pray that I will

get some loans (I'm a loan officer!) so that I can make some money

since I'm on commission only. My husband and I will separate in

February (after the Holidays) so I'm going to need an income.

I love you all!

Pam
