Guest guest
I'm playing catchup again with the emails. Just so you know, money may make the world go round but it doesn't make me happy in the least. Things, posessions, materials can't give love, hugs, kisses or a warm heart to listen to when you're falling asleep. We are considered the poor temple mice in our synagogue. We don't own an unneccasarily huge house, have the newest cars or wear designer clothes; oh, and volunteer our time at the temple (that immediately makes people think we can't afford the dues). Here's the difference between our family and those that love money: We've maintained our hearts and souls if not expanded them. The " feeling " of wealth doesn't come from a bank account, it comes from the friends and family you surround yourself with. Having the latest gadgets only leads to clutter that they'll have to get rid of eventually while my closets aren't empty, I have room to breathe and I'm free enough to accept what the holidays are REALLY about. OK, the kicker? I'm actually grateful for the dragon. I thank G-d each day I wake up, for everything I've experienced and will experience and for one more day to let the people I love know they are loved and cared for. Money can't buy that! That's one of my last words on the subject. Take care and be well my darlings. Ellen
