Guest guest
Thank you all for your prayers and words of advice. I might try the glove thing Cricket, it just might work! I have had the pups and mom at the vet twice now. $250 later...mom got fluids, and a shot of oxytocin to try to get her milk to start, and to possibly push out something they felt was inside of her. I never saw anything come out, but my daughter was feeding them at 3am and noticed blood around her mouth. She may have had an undeveloped pup in there?? She acted crazy and kept trying to nest everywhere in the house frantically. She's much better now that I moved her and her box to a spare bedroom out of the way of house traffic. She refuses to eat her dog food. She will eat cooked chicken and drinks some of the puppy formula. She will not drink water at all! I've tried everything the vet told me and then some. If we could just get her milk to come in all the way, everything would be fine. She has some, but the 3 bigger pups take all 6 nipples and leave the tiny one to nothing. She's the one that gets the most formula. I'm going to try to feed the bigger ones formula and get her on her momma. shew...i'm wiped out............ love you all!
