This is not directly related to milk, but I thought you might be

interested in reading about how our government is doing their best to

protect us.

How about getting rid of this industrial food system and return to

locally produced foods (including raw milk) where you the consumer

personally inspects my farm. If my farm and farming practices are not

good enough, clean enough for you, then you need to take your money

and find a better farm.

The government & industry caused this problem...and now we expect this

same corrupt system to " fix " our problem?

They are throwing us a bone to keep us from rising in rebellion...

FDA Food Protection Plan Shows Significant Progress

FDA has released the Food Protection Plan Progress Report, which shows

significant areas of activity to further improve the safety of the

country's food supply since the agency unveiled its Food Protection

Plan in November 2007. The improvements highlight the agency's efforts

to address domestic and global changes in our food supply. The Food

Protection Plan focuses on prevention (building safety in from the

start), intervention (using targeted risk-based inspections and

testing), and response (responding rapidly when problems are identified).
