Rheumatologist in Ft Lauderdale

I am new to your group and I am looking for a Rheumotologist.

I was originally implanted with Dow Corning Silicone Implants in 1981.

They ruptured and I was reimplanted with Mentor Saline Implants in

1996.

I think that Dr. Vasey is in florida and he is a rheumatologist who

works with women sick from implants. Are you going to get your

mentor implants out? I would recommend that you do. I got saline

from mentor put in 13 years ago and had them out 3 years ago due to

sickness. They try to tell you that salines are safe, but for many

women, like us, they weren't. We have developed all kinds of

strange symptoms and autoimmune illnesses. So please consider

getting your salines out and giving your body a good chance to

heal. By the way, many rheumatogists have little to offer us but

pain killing drugs and possible immune suppressing drugs. While it

might be beneficial to see a rheumatologist, the one I saw refused

to believe that I had anything wrong other than fibromyalgia

and " stress " because my ana and sed rate were normal. I have known

many very ill people with normal ana. Further, I realized that they

weren't going to do much for me anyway. Many of them do not believe

that implants can make you sick. After I got my salines out, I got

much better right away with some of my worst symptoms. After that,

I felt I could do better on my own by

detoxifying and diet changes, etc. You will find much good

information on this site on how to detoxify, etc and this is a very

supportive group. Welcome!
