Hello!

My name is Wood, and I am an ABA tutor in Dayton, Ohio. I

am a sophomore at State University, and I am considering

transferring to the University of Texas at Tyler to be close to

family. I have about 6 months of experience in ABA, and also some

experience using TEACH methods. I am an early childhood/special

education major and my goal is to someday teach in a structured

classroom for autistic children, most likely pre-k to kindergarten

age. I work with four children here, two 6 year-old boys, a 6 year-

old girl, and also a 12 year-old boy. For most of them, I am paid

through an autism scholarship, but I am also certified (through the

State of Ohio Board of MRDD) under the I/0 waiver as an individual

service provider. If/when I move, I will be located in ville,

Texas (about 25 minutes from Tyler, but I am willing to commute to

areas near ville and Tyler. I am just curious what kind of

job opportunities would be available to me if I move there. Even if

you don't need a therapist, I would love to find out if this would

be a good place to post my resume and references. If not, I would

like to know where would be a good place!

If you have any information for me, feel free to email me at

wstephanie_24@... or just reply to this post!

Thanks!

Wood
