Guest guest
I don't know where to turn. We make our living on the computer at our house and while I had a crummy old 386 computer, I made money off of it. I spent about 10 hours typing a list of almost 400 music cassettes yesterday and this morning I was going to list them, and I can't log on. I get a blue screen and can't even load it on the safe mode. I know I need a new computer, but I can't afford it. I'm going to ask my boss on Monday if I can get a loan on future pay but that I can't pay real fast. I just get further and further behind. We owe almost a $1000 in back rent, and tons of other things. I did nothing today, absolutely nothing. Fortunately we have another computer, but Al does this full time and I have a hard time " working " on his computer or at his work station (the couch and a laptop). I just hate this, every time we get one step ahead, we get 2 steps behind! And it does get hard. Question: does anyone know how to get my files out of the old computer? I've tried everything I can think of to start the computer and I can't get the safe mode to open. Any ideas? Carole in Hollywood FL **************Planning your summer road trip?
