Guest guest
Hi , The Lab called me today to get muy permision to contact the insurance to see if they'll pay. Can I ask how expensive is It & did you have too much trouble to get it aproved?. Also, what's the diference betwen the injectables & the Infusion?. Do you remember how long after you had it did you get to feel the efects? I wonder why she's taking me off the other meds. ( I also was taking MTX & Sulfa... & Pred. ) I'm scared to get off all of them. so I reduced this week. ( Hopefully I'll hear from them by next) but the Rd. wanted to wait to Jan to see me. Thanks a lot. Huggs Vivien **************Make your life easier with all your friends, email, and favorite sites in one place. Try it now. Guest guest
Vivien, Hi! I am new to the Still's family, my name is and I was diagnosed officially in March of this year. I have not been tried on Rituxan, I would be interested if after you take it if it helps. I don't have any answers about the cost, but one of the ladies at my Rheumys office said that our doc wrote a letter to the insurance and stated that all other treatments had failed and the insurance covered the Rituxan, she swears by it, she says this is the first time in a year that she was not taking pain meds everyday. Hope that helps. It is scary being off all our meds, I have been taken off of everything except for the steroids, waiting on approval to try Cytoxan. I had a bad experience with Enbrel, and ended up having surgery to remove lymph nodes in my neck and the biopsies having components of B-cell lymphoma. So the Cytoxan is one of the drugs to treat B-cell lymphoma and it is also being used in Still's so maybe we can kill 2 birds with one stone. Good Luck, lots of hugs, and well wishes. Maybe this will be your answer. ________________________________ To: Stillsdisease Sent: Friday, December 5, 2008 10:49:13 PM Subject: Re: QUESTION About Rituxan() Hi , The Lab called me today to get muy permision to contact the insurance to see if they'll pay.
