I am trying to understand why Easter Seals is sending money to private

institutions such as Avondale and perhaps group homes?

Does anyone know what Easter Seals has in mind?

A few years back, my son had a speech pathologist who worked during the day at

Avondale House.  She mentioned that many kids were from group homes and HISD was

paying for them to go there.
