Guest guest
an update - I called my brother and we talked - for a long time. He apologized - he felt horrible and everything seems to be fine. He admitted he was just cutting corners, etc. and that we can't do that. So, we will work on that. So onward. TDay was ok. Didn't feel too good, but made it through a couple of hours with everyone. I think it's the anti-biotics, sometimes they make me feel awful. My glands in my throat get swollen at night now too - seems to be that not using Kineret until after the surgery is going to be hard. My hubby has to push me out of bed, my hands hurt, I'm dropping things all the time, it's so frustrating. I just feel like there isn't an answer right now. I'm just hanging on to my faith - and going one day at a time right now. I was tempted to push the surgery off until after christmas, but my ear hurts all the time and the doctors don't think it's a good idea to wait. Last christmas was broken ribs.. this one... recovering from surgery. hum.. I know it will get better. I know I've grown from this, but sometimes it's hard, thank God for Faith. Guest guest
ellen - you must of freaked out when you little bundle slipped from your hands.. I would have.. I drop everything right now.. spoons, flashlights, brushes.. so frustrating. I've been somewhat quiet on the board because we have some family functions and I have a lot of doc apts between now and Dec 9th when I go in for the pre-admin and the 10th when we have to be at the hospital at 5:30 for the surgery. (We are staying in Nashville overnight). I've had so many surgeries, I thought I was done with them, but here I am again with another one. It's weird that this one is bothering me. It should not, It's not as bad as some of the surgeries I've had. But I've had to get off must of my meds, which has made me a mess and I am just struggling to get through it. I find it odd, frankly. I never had a hard time before. Always strong. My RD said I could use Kineret again for at least a week (until two days before the surgery). I'm thankful for that, because I'm just getting worse and worse which sends me into a big rotten circle. Anyway - what did you go to the ENT for? Has anyone else had a lot of ear infections, etc because of stills - they say it can happen, I'm curious if anyone else has had this happen to them. Take care all. I'll probably not be on much until after the surgery, which is scheduled for the 10th. hugs to all. Alli
