Guest guest Posted December 3, 2008 Report Share Posted December 3, 2008 Hi Everyone, I just would like to thank everyone for their birthday greetings.It feels so good to know people care.I had a great birthday.As some of you know,I have been at one of my sisters since Sunday,because I got a throat virus and I am closer to my doctors here.I will be here until the 12th, due to a cardiac doc appt.(wish me luck on that one!) I sure don't want a repeat of last year.I have another big anniversary coming up,which I am proud of.On Dec. 16 it will be one year since I quit smoking! yeah! Anyway, I was in bed all day because I coughed all night and hurt my hiatal hernia,not a good feeling.For dinner I got up and had seven others here.My hubby came early and stayed all night,he usually stays at our son's because it's alot closer to work and the traffic and roads are horrific this time of year.He gave me a beautiful card and a bracelet watch also beautiful.A friend and her hubby gave me a Christmas CD, which is kinda cool since I left my whole bag of xmas cd's at my daughters.My sister I'm staying with gave me a lottery ticket for the 128 million dollar super lottery and a much needed huge crossword puzzle dictionary.My old one is trashed and I'm an avid crossword puzzel solver.My youngest sister gave me a rug for my shabby chic bedroom collection,a little basket to match for my dresser and a book I had been wanting.So then I had a chocolate cake with trick candles (really appreciated that!) I ended up putting them out in my water glass! Anyway, I had a great time.I'm totally exhausted today,but it was worth it and made just that much more special with your wishes for me.So thank you again and I love you all and hope you have a pain free day. love Elly p.s. yes Cat I am now as old as you are,but June comes mighty quick.LOL Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Anyway, it is nice to know that I will never be as old as you and CAT, even when January (mine) and June come. By the way, I have not told my birthday. Keeping it a secret.
