I had been put on Kineret around a month ago. After about a week or two we

got word from the Insurance company that the claimw as denied, and that i

would need to prove that I was intolerant to several other medications

before being on Kineret. My Rheumatologist was infuriated, however. The

medications they told me I needed to go through first treated RA, and *not*

Still's. He wrote them a letter telling them to get their act together or he

would start the process of suing them.

For the past 2 weeks my Mom has been on the phone with the Insurance company

and my Rheumy's office, fighting for my claim.

Finally after 2 weeks my Insurance company approved the claim.
