I would call the Dr. and ask him for pain meds now!! If the answering  service

asks if this is an emergency,,say yes.

..why suffer when the Dr. is out golfing this Saturday!(even though he may

deserve it)

..

 I have been hurting so 

bad over the last 2 weeks

.. I'm sure I am paying for my travels. I

won my husband and I a all expenses paid trip to Alaska. It was

wonderful considering I spent half of my time in the room resting.

But at least you got to see Alaska and make memories..

 have they up your Methotrexate any time recantly? I ask this as my doc was

worried i would be come nausea. She told me to take dramamean. so far i have not

had to do that as i seam to handle all my meds the few i take with no problems.

the only problims i have ever had taking any thing was the reoid giving me the

moon face and to many extra pounds, messed with me mentaly. but that was the

only one. just a thought.

I have upped on the MTX from 5 pills to 6. & nbsp; I think I may have forgotten to

say that I am also taking Prednisone. & nbsp; I orig. started taking 80 mg and

ended up going down to 7.5. & nbsp; I have been upped on it to 20 mg. & nbsp; I know

what you mean about the extra pound that the Pred adds. & nbsp; It has messed with

me also. & nbsp; Matter of fact I have gained 35 lbs on it and it literally makes

me sick even thinking about it. & nbsp; I have to do something else to get that

under control. & nbsp; Unfortunately.... that has been the last thing on my

list. & nbsp; Keeping the pain under control has been 1st for sure. & nbsp; I

haven't been told to take the Dramamine, & nbsp; I have taken the Phenegan, I just

hate the droggy, drugged out feeling it gives me. & nbsp; I have some Dramamaine

that I keep on hand for travel so I will try that. & nbsp; How much do you take?

Like 1 or 2 pills? & nbsp; Your help is greatly appreciated. & nbsp; I'm so

miserable that right now I'll

try anything. & nbsp; Someone posted about the Chinagel the otherday... I got on

the website right away and ordered it. I have the Bio-Freeze it hasn't helped

this time. & nbsp; I also have the Lidoderm patches, it helps a little in spots,

not with the joints though. & nbsp; I'm just miserable.

Thanks Diane. & nbsp; You're right... I did get to see Alaska. & nbsp; It was so

beautiful. & nbsp; I do realize it is something that many people only dream

about. & nbsp; I have put a call in to the dr. I am just completely miserable

right now. & nbsp; I try not to complain very much as many of us with

Stills. & nbsp; I think sometimes we wait too long before saying something. & nbsp;

It's just over the edge right now. I have been in the bed most of the

day. & nbsp;I talked to a lady the other day and she said gosh... I wish I could

stay in the bed all day. & nbsp; I told her. & nbsp; You know what... I used to feel

that way and now I long for the days that I can be out of the bed all day. & nbsp;

When you spend as much time in the bed as we do, it's a necessity and not a

choice. & nbsp; It's not fun at all. & nbsp; Thanks for the suggestion. & nbsp;

Hi , Maybe you should ask not just for pain meds, but for anit-nausau

meds. I have them on hand and they seem to help me function. Just an idea.

 this came up with my doc when she upped my MTX from 4 pills at 2.5 a pill to

nine. it has never made me sick but she was telling me how it has so many so she

told me about the Dramamine. Now I have never had to use it yet for that but i

have because of feeling sick and I then take one pill normally as it also makes

me groggy just like my muscle relaxers and mussel spasm meds . it's funny to

watch your muscles start dancing i your legs or arms and such but when it is the

side of my face it hurts big time and gives me such dam head acks it is unreal

..fact is the spasms have gotten so  out of hand of late that i am hurting so so

bad any more and now they have gone into my chest so it is hurting almost like a

hard squeeze from some one same with my throat from the bottom of the chin to my

sternum. it has even got hard to get any of my cat nap sleep as that's about all

I sleep any more and have for years is cat naps .the last two days it has been

also

effecting my left temple with massive pain and spasms
