Guest guest
Oops, I think I got it backwards. It was AB1735 that was doing in CA raw milk dairies. AB1604 was going to fix it but was withdrawn and I guess it's all waiting for the new committee findings but you probably all know more about than I do. Guest guest
Hi Welcome to the group. There’s a lot of us concerned about California who don’t even live there! I hope you’ll donate to the effort if you can at either the Farm to Consumer legal defense fund: http://www.ftcldf.org/ or you can donate at the " Save California Raw Milk Political Action Fund” http://www.organicpastures.com/index.html We wish you the best of luck in your fight because it will more than likely affect all of our abilities to procure safe raw milk in the future. Sincerely, “Hi All, I signed up for this although given the amount of email I've enlisted, I can hardly keep up because I am a customer of raw milk products and would like to keep it that way. Being about an hour away from Organic Pastures in California allows me to have access to their products which I find to be helpful I believe in relieving many allergy symptoms. In addition, I don't know if it will help but it can't hurt in offsetting the osteoporosis effects which I have recently been diagnosed after having a bone scan. Now in California our two raw milk dairies have been given an extremely raw deal by the state legislatures in the form of AB 1604 which was subsequently withdrawn and a special committee to be formed to study raw milk before setting up new standards. The threat is still there. I have found over other issues, the best defense against such an offense is by uniting and expect this group would be a good place to find such mutual interests.
