Guest guest
The HCS Provider I use is called Village Learning and Acheivement Center in Kingwood. It is awesome and the people are great. The owner is a parent herself and has fought with with the Humble school district and really knows her stuff. Here is a brief intro: Village Learning & Achievement Center (VLAC) is a non-profit organization which is dedicated to providing quality programs and services to children and adults with disabilities who reside in the Humble, Kingwood, and Atascocita area of Northeast Houston. VLAC is located at 3819 Plum Valley Dr. in Kingwood and provides stimulating activities, one-on-one interaction and personal contact, excellent programming, life-skills training, community based interaction, and affordable residential opportunities. Village Learning & Achievement Center brings together an extremely qualified group of individuals to run a variety of offered programs to persons with mental, physical, and developmental disabilities. Programs and services provided by VLAC include: DADS Home & Community Service Provider, Day Habilitation, Residential Services, Transportation, After School Care, Supported Employment Services, Vocational Training, Resource Information & Referral, and Advocacy. For more information call or log on to www.villagelac.org If I'm not mistaking, I don't believe you have to be a resident in order to participate, but I'm not sure. If you decide to give them a call let them know that Kailan's mom sent you. Good Luck, ~Keisha W. > > Dear TAA Group: > > I am not happy with our HCS provider and I was wondering if anyone out there could recommend one. > > Thnak you !!! > > Ive Ammoune > > > Ive > > >
