Dear Ms. Belingit:

I had to laugh when I read the quote by Mr. Chirdon:

" [Cows] will lay down in manure and they'll go to the bathroom on each other. ... Cows are quite filthy, " he said. " So it's up to the farmer to have outstanding sanitation practices. "

That quote is the most asinine statement I have ever heard. Cows don't go to the BATHROOM!!!! Cow piss or pea and crap or shit wherever they want. (Sorry for not using a more sanitized language...) And I am sure that the cows at Mr. Nolt's farm are in a better sanitary environment than the cows in some factory farm. Regardless, in BOTH locations whether the cows are milked by hand or by machine the teats are washed and sanitized. If Mr. Nolt has 200 customers I would bet that he keeps a very clean place.

The issue really is not raw milk, it is the freedom to farm and control. Regrettably, our government is slowly taking all our freedoms away. Everything must be homogenized. This Mr., Chirdon is better suited for Nazi Germany. His job description has gone to his ego. Strange that in our modern world we can legally practice abortion and thousand of people are killed by drunk drivers each year and very little is being done, but watch out you may not consume raw milk. Where is the logic?

Oh, and you should have mentioned that Chidron used to be employed by one of the large factory dairy processing company...I would think that smirks of an “incestuous” relationship.

As you were putting this article together, did you not wonder what people have done for ages, actually for millennia, drink raw milk, eat raw honey and eat with their hands; I wonder how in God’s earth mankind has survived?

But yes, I keep forgetting that Government is our Savior, our Protector, and the bureaucrats its High Priests who have to protect us from ourselves. How sad.

Sincerely,

Miesel
