Dear Friends,

The holiday season is upon us once again. Our warmest greetings to you and

your family and our best wishes for 2009.

This time of year can be challenging for many people – especially people

living with pain. The strain of social events, family obligations and

financial matters all seems to come to a head over the “holly jollyâ€

soundtrack of holiday expectations and needs. It can be overwhelming.

We know what you are experiencing and you are not alone. The National Pain

Foundation has added new programs to further support and help you connect

with others going through similar struggles. If you haven’t spent much time

on our web site recently, please check it out! We have launched a YouTube

channel and a Facebook page with discussion boards, news, networking

opportunities and success stories. Please share your experiences by

submitting personal stories and view the stories of others – like this year

s Triumph Award winner Kathy Church.
