Actually nigerian dwarf milk contains A1 so probably pygmy does as well. Aliza <<<<from what I've gathered so far, it seems that goat's milk is A2 milkthat A1 milk is a genetic abberation. All mammals except somebovines are A2>>>>

Aliza, I don't know where you got your information, but there are NO

breeds of goats that are A1 milk producers. Goats and sheep are all

A2 producers. A1 vs A2 producers in cattle are indicated generally by

breed, but may not fit the general breed tendancy. Genetic testing

of individual animals is the only way to determine if a cow is A1 or

A2...but ALL goats and sheep are A2.

Here is the link Bob. The Phalia farms dairy tested their own

goats - they are a wonderful solar powered artisan dairy here in

southern oregon - and found them all to have Alpha S1 casein which

is what makes their yeilds so high.

in if you are interested small mini goat raw milk dairy information.

I speculate that pygmy milk would also contain A1 casein because

they were developed from the same african goats.
