Guest guest
Well, the latest item added to my diagnostic list is " Interstitial Lung Disease " . It is not the same as the inflammation of the Plerual lining or pericardium of the heart. Those 2 are common in Stills. This is inflammatory infiltrates in the lung tissue itself. Can only really be verified by lung biopsy after being noted in CAT Scans. (and inability to transport oxygen well, of course. Breathing is a highly under rated experience, believe me,,,,LOL) There are references to this in RA, Scleroderma, Systemic Lupus, Sacrcoidosis and several other of the " collagen vascular autoimmune diseases " . So, I would imagine it could likely be seen in Stills as well. Just does not appear to be very common among us. Of course, I would be one of the lucky few. Please let me know by posting or personal email to uncle_fuzzy@... if you have been diagnosed with this or of someone, with Stills who has had it. They added a drug called Imuran to my cocktail. That is to get me off the 60-80mg of prednisone a day that it took to get the condition under control with me recently. Thanks Tom from PA
