Hey Vivien,

I will keep rooting for you, hang in there, if you need to talk I am here.

I was on MTX before my last surgery, my hair didn't come out to bad, but it got

really hard to manage it didn't do anything I wanted it to do. Actually when

Plaquenil was added to the mix, my hair started coming out more, I don't know

maybe it was the combo of the 2.

If I start Cytoxan next week they already told me I would lose my hair, my

youngest son has already shaved all of his off in support. I am a baseball hat

person, cause I cannot stand a wig, its hot and itches.

Thanks for rooting for me & specially the prayers...I 'm doing the double -

" Special " untill & hear from the insurance & then re- start to asked it

works for me!! . I had to decide today if I'd skip the MTX or take another dose.

I simply couldn't . I would've if it's been after the montly flare, but I

It's about readdy to start again, so I coun't take the chance to make it

a untolerable one. The insurance called to get the insurance aproval started

& said I should have the asweer next week. I hope the RD> is readdy to get

going by then.

It hit me that the reazon that they must get you off IS so that IT'LL be in

your records that nothing else worked so you had to get off THEN they request

permission to start you on the NEXT & say that you need it cause you tried

all the other stuff & didn't work. ( that way is in record, in writting for

when they request the copies.)

Any way I believe that It was Ellen that was on MTX & said she lost a lot of

hair but it came back " curly " (she used to be straght).I've done the oposite

I used to be straight, lost ( still losing it) & now is mostly straight.

Hope I get it back once I'm off the MTX.

Hope your not to far from getting on something that helps. So far I herd

good stuff about RTX.
