Guest guest
The Supernal Triad Gods Realm Introduction The Tree of Life is a viable, living Tree. It contains an inexhaustible supply of nourshing fruit for us to harvest. The fruit of the Tree is continually renewed by the life-giving energies of the Inner Planes. The more fruit we harvest, the greater our continued harvest will be. It is the Law of Supply and Demand, with limitless supply. The Four Worlds Atziluth - World of Orgins - Contemplation - God Aspect Briah - Creative World - Meditation - Archangles Yetzirah - Formative World - Ritual Magick - Angels Assiah - World of Expression - Earth Life - Plantetary Powers Our daily work with the Tree is focused differently depending upon which of the Four Worlds hold our current attention. Our connection to Divinity is seen as inward through the Four Worlds and upward through the spheres of the Tree. Behind the world of Assiah lies the world of Yetzirah, peopled with the Angelic Kingdom. The Angels only cloak themselves in humanoid form when that serves their task and that form is task specific. Angles are subject to Devine Will as it is expressed through the Archangels. They are created(and de-created by the Archangels in line with the task at hand(emanating from the Mind of God) that need to be fullfilled. Where the Angels are the "form" the Archangels are the "force" behind that form. Archangels are like executives of giant corporations in that they have a Plan (from Divinity) and pass the work on to the Angelic Kingdom to carry out in detail. They are transformers in that they step down the energy from the orginal creation from the God Aspect creatively to the Angelic Kingdom to bring forth the forms. Archangels are permanent beings in the grand sheme of the Universe while the Angels are replaceable or expendable. Behind Kether lies Ain (Nothing), Ain Soph(Limitless Nothing) and Ain Soph Aur(Limitless Light). This Light condenses into Kether, the point, the Godhead. The first polarization is Chokmah, Wisdom and Binah, Understanding. These three form the Supernal Triad. Within the Abyss lies Daath the "sphere with no number". Below the Abyss, the next Triad is concerned with the differentiation of the discernable world in its greater sense. Primary forces polarize here through Chesad, Mercy, and Geburah, Severity(expansion and constriction). Tipareth, Beauty, is the central sphere on the Tree and Kether in a lower arc. The lower quaternary of spheres represents a further condensation of energetics. Netzach, the realm of feelings and desire, is balanced by Hod, the seat of the rationalizing, intellectualizing self. Yesod, the astral dream world, completes this Triad. Separated by the Inferior Abyss is Malkuth, the seat of waking consciousness and the maternal world. Only a small fraction of the Universe condenses down into form. The Three Negative Veils Before even the Godhead came into being, nothing was. Kether arose out of this nothingless. There are three of these "Negative Veils" of nothingless Ain, Ain Soph, and Ain Soph Aur. They translate as "Nothing", "Limitless Nothing", and "Limitless Light" or "Enlightened Limitlessness". Kether condenses out of the Ain Soph Aur just as crystals spontaneously being to form in a super-saturated salt solution. Vibration created the spark that caused the condensation of the entire Universe to precipate out of Ain Soph Aur. "And God said...." Nothing is a prerequisite for manifestation. Nothing is the circle, the zero state, the backdrop on which the Tree unfolds. By moving our consciousness to the Nothing perspective we are then able to create without interference. A very big hint of the importance of this begining from nothingness is given to us in the fact that the first major tarot trump, the Fool is numbered "0". Before we begin counting there must be a zero. To understand something we must be outside of it, able to observe it from all angles. To find Divinity we must get outside ourselves. This Ain concept, this zero perspective, is the only space great enough to contain the potential for all things. As soon as nothing manifest into something there is that which it is not. Nothing in Hebrew is AIN, the "not I" the "nothing". "I" the opposite is ANI in Hebrew. How to move forward to this goal? Non-attachment. By releasing our attachment, discrimination and discernment of everything we gain everything. We move from objective reality to the potential of nothing. The Supernals demonstrate for us the three-in-one energetic of Divinity. Kether is the raw material of existence, before existence. Before any phenomenal existence Kether differentiates into Chokmah (the Supernal Father, active potential) and Binah (the Great Mother, passive potential). This triad of energy forms the tops of the three columns in the Tree of Life. The right hand under Chokmah is called the Pillar of Mercy and the left hand column under Binah is called the Pillar of Severity. The central column, the Middle Pillar, is called the Pillar of Mildness, standing in equilbrium between the two outer columns. We can also look at these three spheres as being energy (Kether) which begins oscillating between force (Chokmah) and form (Binah). From this comes the power and the plan to create the Universe. From this oscillating also comes time.
