Hello all,

Sorry I haven't posted in a long time. I don't know whare the time goes.

I've been having chest pain for a few months now and have just been

told by the cardiologist that it is being caused by pericardial

inflammation. We're hoping that the Rituximab will kick in and sort it

out but it's early days on that front yet and I'm finding the chest

pain and chest aching awful.

The doc said that the treatment for this is steroids and anti-

inflammatory medications. However, I'm currently down to 10mg of

prednisolone having had a lot of pressure put on me by the RD because

of the dreadful side effects. Docs won't put me onto anti-inflammatory

tablets because I have a history of stomach ulcers. So you see, I'm

stuck between a rock and hard place!

Has anyone got any thoughts on what might help? Any advice much

appreciated.

Best wishes to all

Kate (UK)
