Why does my new kombucha tea still have a bite?

Dear Ones,

The wonderful scoby that someone sent me a while ago had a bite when I made KT

from it. Some of my family loved it but couldn't stand the tiny scobies that

formed in the top, which I considered a sign of virility.

I have often swallowed them. Ha.

My daughter took those scobies and made a mild KT from them.

Now I harvested kombucha tea from her scobies. In six days, It has used up the

sugar and has a smaller bite that makes me choke, even when extremely diluted.

Is it just my ancient hands? O. Woe. Must I give up brewing? Or start using

rubber gloves? O. Shudder at the thought.

Or buy Kombucha Drops from Bev?

Blessings on you all. LOve. MArge.
