welcome back and I hope that you are making every effort to stay warm.

I am on Imuran in addition to Remicade. It is kind of a replacement

for methotrexate. Per my pulmonologist the Imuran is second choice for

lung involvment in connective tissue disorders. I got hit with the

lungs last winter. My rheumy has indicated that the Imuran is not as

good as MTX for the arthritis symptoms, but that is me. When I have

not been able to stay on my drug regimen (infection free) the combo of

Imuran and Remicade have worked pretty well. I just had a major set

back but the lungs stayed clear. Luckily we caught the lungs early on

and that outcome looks good.

SO you are now " officially " a fellow Dragon Slayer! Sharpen your blade...you

may be in for a long fight...Imuran I have been taking for over 3 years and

doing pretty well...it and the pred. Help keep the Still's and the inflammation

at bay....I am glad you ae a part of our family...an important part....I do not

believe any of us are here by accident.....keep coming back..
