Guest guest
My name is cindy and I have a 17 month old with congenital scolosis, he recently had an appointment at SLC shriners with doctor ogolvie. They told me that casting wouldn't work for him and all we had left to do is wait and see, we have to take him back in 6 months, but I'm afraid his curve will progress. when he was first diagnosed with scoliosis he had a 25* curve, now last wendsday his curve was 35* the doctor said we still had to wait another 6 months to see if it kept progresing, I just feel overwhelmed and think the doctor should of started some sort of treatment before the curve progresses even more. Does anybody have any suggestions or advice? He is also schedule for an MRI next saturday, Is there anything I should know about it? I mean is it dangerous? Can there be any complications? I will appriciate any advice or information that I can get, thanks.
