Guest guest
Dear Donna, Depression. Eskimos run into this problem during the long northern winters, with only seals to eat. Guest guest
Hi Obie, I love to hear success stories. Good for you. How much are you taking? I remember the article said 60mg to increase circulation for the diabetic. It's suppose to be good for neuropathy. You can also give this to your " lady " . I was the one that posted the article, then a woman (sorry can't remember who) responded and said she had been on it and it was good for memory & I think she said energy. I replied asking how much she took. Never got an answer. I was waiting in hopes of hearing from her before getting some for my husband. But after reading your post today, I ran out and got him some. Again the dosage is 450mg, but the directions say take 2 or 3 capsules twice a day. Well, I just gave him one now. I also took one myself earlier and did feel more energetic AND my feet aren't cold! Thanks for the post. BTW, isn't some EPA's necessary? I've always heard your body doesn't make them & must be replaced. Maybe you're getting enough in your diet. Gail ps. If the woman who responded last time to the gotu kola post is reading this, can you post again and tell us the amount you're taking? Thanks. Gotu Kola > Well, I thought I'd make a little report about what's happening to me with this. I'm trying to increase my blood circulation and was using Flax Seed Oil capsules which, after a while, didn't seem to continue to work and then I began to read about " ...too much EFAs " . Well, someone mentioned Gotu Kola and I tried it, glad to say boot feet nice and toasty, completely off FSO caps; hoping GK works for a long while. Whoever wrote that post, Thank you. Obie. > > > > >
Guest guest
Hi, Sonshine: Well, my bottle of Gotu Kola came from Walmart. I figured cheap and cheerful. The caps contain 435 mg each; says take one per day. Hey, do I appreciate your getting back to me; for 2 reasons. I wanted to ask if I take more will I ruin something since you indicated 60 mg per day; evidently not if your bottle says take 2 or 3 per day @ 450 mg each. I want to try to rev up this circulation a little more because I feel the warmth of better blood circulation almost every place. I just gotta get on with . what's left. Secondly, I wanted to thank you personally, Gail. I'm sure those who give out certain details on this list don't realize the good it does for some of us who receive it. Oh, by the way my " lady " is my wife. Years ago I heard the one about asking Bubba " Hey, who was that lady I saw you with last night " and Bubba says " That was no lady, that was my wife " . Well, I made up my mind long ago that I would view her as a lady and, you know, she is certainly every bit a lady today. You'd enjoy knowing her. She's taking GK, too. Also, about EFAs being necessary, I'd don't have near enough information yet but I'm reading everything I can get and I do understand they are essential, only not too much and in balance. More later, Obie. Hi Obie, I love to hear success stories. Good for you. How much are you taking? I remember the article said 60mg to increase circulation for the diabetic. Guest guest
Donna, just a overall feeling that something was not right. Couldn't put my finger on it but FO was the only thing I was really taking a lot of. I stopped only that and in 3- 4 days, I was feeling better. Obie Re: Gotu Kola I tried straight fish oil caps and had nose bleeds immediately. I don't know what was up with that, but it happened with several different cod liver oils. So I switched to omega 3's from fish oil and don't seem to have a problem. So when you noticed a problem, exactly what was it, Obie. I am not clear on that from what you wrote. Thanks, Donna
