Guest guest
Hey Everyone, just called. She sounded so much better today. Olivia is still in pain, but getting better. Her aunt and cousin are there with them now. Olivia adores her cousin and playing together is a great distraction for the hospital. says they might get Olivia up for walking tomorrow. Keep praying for a speedy recovery and the pain to subside. Thanks again for the support. was glad to hear about it. :0) Shellie Shellie Grant wrote: Good morning everyone, I haven't heard from and Olivia yet today. I will be sure to post when I do. Thanks so much for supporting them in your thoughts and prayers. They both are very tough, and the hospital is never much fun! I know they just want to get Olivia well and go home. I'll post later. She is most definitely in my thoughts and prayers. Noelle (12-2-01) Ian (8-15-04) Call from today Hey Everyone, Please continue to keep Olivia and in your prayers. She called this afternoon. Olivia is recovering, but they learned in the OR that her ribs were in fact broken. I don't know how many. They were able to re-attach the VEPTRs at another location up top, but the ribs will have to heal on their own. There isn't much to be done to help that. Not good news, and a bit discouraging at first to hear. Pray that they both will be able to get lots of rest so they can go home soon. Hopefully we can start asking around and find out if anything else can be done to prevent this from happening again. was encouraged to know that we are all praying for her and her girl. I will update again when I get a call. Shellie
