Shellie Grant/update on little boy up for adoption

Hi Shellie,

I just checked back on the Childrens Hope International waiting children list,

and the little boy with congenital scoliosis was placed! Praise God! Thant's

AWESOME news!!! Just thought you would be glad to hear that!

This is some what off topic, but I can NOT get this off of my mind, and I know

if anyone can understand, it would be this group! Donnie and I are in the

process of an international adoption and I was looking at pictures of waiting

children on our adoption agencies web site the other day. I came across a little

boy 4-5 years old that has been diagnosed with congenital scoliosis. He has

severe deformities and it just broke my heart. It made me think how blessed our

children are to have the care that they do. Please think of this innocent little

child and say a prayer of hope for him!

Hi Everyone,

Haley has had her current cast on since December7. I am noticing that

when she lays on her stomach I can get 3-4 fingers under the cast

without any effort. When she is sitting or standing it seems to be

" tighter " I hope I am just being paranoid, but after a whole year of

being in a cast, we FINALLY saw improvement with her last cast...9

degrees of improvement. I just do not remember that cast doing this.

Dr. Khoury looked at some pics and said that they look OK, but if we

want to we could x-ray. I HATE the thought of her being exposed to

MORE radiation, but what if it would show that the cast is not

holding???? I am scared of losing any of the correction. Any

thoughts??? THANKS
