Guest guest
I know we've just covered this, and I wasn't paying close enough attention, I'm afraid. But, during his bath last night we discovered a 1.5 inch strip of red, raw skin with peeled skin around it (it looks like it's been pulled off and is rolled up around the perimeter) under Jacks arm. I put a little calendula on it, just where I could see it. But, what is the protocol? I know we can't get in for another cast any sooner. We're 13 days from it. Anything we can do to prevent further deterioration? It's down right where the cast hits his rib/chest area under the arm - not his armpit. Also, we faxed a request in for our x-rays to be sent to Birmingham yesterday. I hate just sitting and waiting. Any advice for getting them sent quickly? We need them to be sent like - yesterday - to get on the schedule as quickly as possible. I feel like my hands are tied and I can't stand just waiting.
