I am new on hear too so we have more than just reiki in common. I am completely lost and confused in here and loved reading your message, it made me feel better! Just for the record, I feel the same way as you about being a reiki master. I just tell everyone I am a master of me ... dont feel qualified in any other way - master seems quite a powerful word and when attuned to mastership it is quite daunting ! I live in the uk too, so 3 things in common already. By the way, glad to meet you all, I didn't introduce myself properly when I first came on here, cos I didn't know whether or not to stay here... mainly cos I didn't know what I was doin lol !! Now I know I am not the only one perhaps I will stick around a bit longer. Thanks to Liane and for inviting me on here... I feel really honoured... You are all doing such wonderful stuff. Keep up the good work everyone.. your all fab!! take care love, light and reiki blessings Cheryl x
Guest guest
Hello Cheryl. It's wonderful to hear from you, and that you also practice the art of Reiki. And Steve, thank you for the introduction. It was uplifting. And I love this line:"I am a master of nothing other than my own certainty that I am a master of nothing."I've been practicing Reiki for almost 2 years now in the traditional Usui lineage. The next step in my journey with Reiki would be training for Master/Teacher. is a wonderful friend of mine as well, and he introduced the Jin Kei Do lineage to me which I instantly fell in love with. He also introduced some Qigong to me as well. I love that there are other Reiki practitioners in this group. We need as many sincere healers as we can get in this world. Oh, and I wouldn't feel comfortable with being called "Master" eitherl. In the Japanese tradition the word "Master" was equivalent to the word "teacher". So when they would call their teacher "master", they mostly meant "teacher". That's a tongue twister. But I would MUCH rather be called "Teacher". heheIt's so wonderful to hear from you both, and I wish you much love and many simple blessings. -Stefanie> >> > Hello everyone!> > > > I would like to introduce myself as a new member of this group, but > > first of all I want to thank for inviting me and for being a > > very good friend and also Liane for welcoming me somewhere on this > > Group page...> > > > To be honest, I am having a lot of difficulty finding my way around > > this Healing Group - but I guess that I will get there in the end!> > > > It is great to see such a group as this and long may it provide help, > > healing and love to all of those in need and let's face it, that's > > all of us at some point in our lives.> > > > About me: I live in the UK, just up the road from Shakespeare's > > birthplace, in a little town called Rugby.
