Guest guest
My son just got a pediatric orthopedic walker last week and has been using it to walk around the house. I am noticing that he always seems to start off with his left foot and follow with his right. The right foot seems to lag behind (he picks it up and steps with it, but it seems to be a slower movement than with the left foot) and that his right foot toes out quite a bit. I had posted a couple weeks ago about how we have noticed an assymetry with his army crawling (mostly dragging the right foot) and I got quite a few responses back about people noticing the same with their children, so I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this same walking issue that we are noticing? I'm trying to figure out if these issues are related to the cast, the scoliosis, or an underlying disorder (or a combination)? ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Never miss a thing.
