It was a soap that had some natural color in it. I have never had that happen on any other colored soap. She said she was able to get it out of the cloth though. I never used that coloring again. It was dark red. Don't really know what to tell you except it is very nice of you to offer to buy her a new cloth. Rose I just had a customer call me (the FIRST one in 6 years!) regarding her white washcloths turning a blue color due to using my Deep Blue soap. **************Biggest Grammy Award surprises of all time on AOL Music. Guest guest
e I had it happen ONCE also... A soap had Red Reef Clay, and it DID stain, but it also washed out in the next laundry load too. So, I recommended she call me back if the washrag did not clean up properly after her next laundry load of wash that included that washrag. I also did like you and offered to replace her washrag/reimburse for it's cost. She never called back though. I also tested a similar white washrag in my own laundry and know that all the red stain would have come out. Maybe you can duplicate this also with a bar of the blue soap and let her know what to expect with laundrying? Bloom Southern Soapers Fragrances ~ " We Have No Common Scents! Guest guest
Hi When I use certain colors I let my customer know that it will affect their face cloths, and I really did put too much red reef clay in one batch of soap. Guest guest
I had that problem once myself, with a black oxide that was swirled into the soap (it was really cool, looked like a zebra! lol)...however, it stained washcloths, so I never made it again. Wish I could tell you what to do. Have you tried using a much lower amount? I know it won't be as bright, but perhaps suitable anyway? Good luck!
