Hi Everyone,

My back was normal today - I'm not sure what caused

the sudden tightness yesterday - I have two guesses 1)

the long dental appointment I had last week - being in

the chair in an awkward position may have done

something or 2) the week I took off from exercising

when I had the stomach virus - I do tend to

stiffen/tighten up when I'm not active. I probably

should have done some stretching once I felt better,

but I was really wiped out and busy with doing load

upon load of laundry after my DD got sick!

Anyway - today I did T-Tapp Primary Back Stretch to

warm up (as per usual) Then I did WHFN FitPrime's

Lean workout. Keli leads this one - it is a

lighter workout (a " hare " to use firm terminology),

lighter cardio, lighter sculpting, shorter duration.

Its companion is the " Pump " workout I did yesterday.

A good one. I'm thinking that these FitPrime workouts

would be good for a recovery week when doing a

rotation like P90X or STS. A change of pace not too

taxing on the body, but not a waste of time either.

I added on Perfect in 10 Pilates (a Ross find) - I did

the Freedome and Flexibility section for extra

stretching - a good medley of traditional Pilates

exercises that focused on both strength and

flexibility. The instructor (I didn't catch her name)

does a good job withher presentation -

straightforward, no-nonsense.

Anyway, gotta run!

Take care,

Donna
