Guest guest
Hello everyone, I sold my soaps at a craft fair on Sunday, and today I received a voicemail message from a customer who purchased from me at the fair. She is asking for 30 to 40 bars of my soap and also inquiring as to what price break I could give her. I do not wholesale my soaps yet, because I don't purchase my ingredients in large enough quantities to offer a price break. That is a future goal, but now I purchase my oils in gallon size and I don't have enough space in my apartment to store large volumes of soap. I am fine with craft fairs and ocassional internet sales. What are some of the key questions should I ask the customer who called me. I can't imagine a customer asking for 30 to 40 bars of soap and a discount unless she wants to resell them - I could be wrong on this. I am open to your thoughts on this as I do eventually want to wholesale, but that is a goal down the road, when I get a larger space. Kind regards, Pat Armstrong Handcrafted Soaps and more....www.thestylishcollection.com ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Looking for last minute shopping deals? I suppose of lot of it depends on how much profit you are making in the first place. I can only tell you what I do. The customer has to buy $200 or more in product retail and then I give a 30% discount.
