Guest guest
Randy, We love yea man, thanks for sharing your lifetime of poetic work, keep up the hard work. > > Dearest Brothers and Sisters; > I am so deeply honored to be a part of this wonderful experience shared here. In honesty, everytime I think on posting my versions of " wisdom " , I catch myself laughing and thinking " they already know this anyway " . Funny but true. I feel the energies here easily and my words would only be subtile reassuraces at best so I am delighted to share my lifetime of poetic work instead. > Religion or one's spiritual path in truth, must arise from within. There are no external words really. We hear so many versions of " truth " don't we?. Perhaps they are all wrong, perhaps only one, or perhaps they all fit together, each complimenting the others like fingers in a glove. See... who or what, other that the inner voice can guide us?. We each create our light (or darkness), and our foundations and growth make us brighter. Please do not get me wrong- we all learn and expand from the experiences of others, but is our choice alone as what to accept of not. > -May all here..... > No; I was going to write an aspiration but you all already know it anyway. Guest guest
Dearest Sister Luna; I am touched that I have inspired you and others. Isn't it amazing- even poems of sadness can be appreciated and a smile can manifest. I am in the process of figuring out another piece of the universal picture. I am getting a few glimpses of something I do not yet know. Tuesday evening at meditation, I realized that we all speak of our "light" going beyond our body and others fell it or some even se it, but I have come across (what is for now) is a puzzling lesson. I am seeing that we do not emit or radiate this light, instead, it comes to us and makes us. The directions and origions are unlimited. When we are perceived as shining, we are simply reconnecting with some of or all of the energies and such that make us into these fragile yet precious human bodies. I have no idea where this will go. Wisdom teaches that to ponder only causes confusion and/or will only get us lost. Answers such as this must come on their own, so I patiently wait for more pieces. (smiles). The reason I write this is perhaps to make others ponder or certainly be read by others who already know the answers, or we can all play a game of fill in the blanks. Perhaps soon I will share a place I found which I cannot give any neme. It is simply "the white place". Very real and reassuring that compassion, love and kindness are very much at work. Respectfully bows, Randy p.s. Tonight I have a religous event I attend every thursday. It is called Chenrezik. A singing prayer/aspiration that all beings without exception all bond in compassion, all sufferings are ended, and many other positive words. I must dedicate the merit for the benefit of all beings, but tonight, I dedicate the practice itself to the happines and growth of each precious soul here. I will sing loud and sincere. Listen cerefully. I again smile. Compassion To All, Randy Park yourself in front of a world of choices in alternative vehicles.Visit the Auto Green Center. Guest guest
Dear Randy, I am very interested in what you have seen in your meditation, it is so intriguing! I also wonder if there is some part of the Universe that emits light to us...Hmm....Definitely something very exciting to see where it may show you it's origin or if as you have said, if others may have had similar experiences. What a loving and compassionate person you are! I am humbled that you are going to sing for all here at your meeting! I am familiar with the Buddha of Compassion, Chen-Re-Zig, I have contacted a teacher, Lama-Jigme on myspace that practices, if I am not mistaken, maranaya...I am not quite sure of the spelling, and he offers a quick course in Learning the way to compassion and the way of buddhism with Chen-Re-Zig as his for lack of words buddha of choice, no disrespect, I am a fledgling at knowing the many names of the Buddha and have read much by the Dalai Lama and I especially resonate with Pema Chodron, she is a wonderful speaker and author, very down to earth, like so many of the Buddhist people, as well as others whom may not be " Buddhist " for this is just a label but just kind of denotes the belief systems they enjoy. You definitely make my heart fill and I sing with you my brother! Compassion for all is what is needed, especially now and the suffering of all is much but I feel together as One we can make a big difference! I am smiling as I read this for I am so moved that your compassion is so great and I can't tell you enough how much your words inspire and wake up emotions, it is a wonderful and challenging life and may you be lavished with blessings! Guest guest
Dear Friend/Sister Luna; I am touched that you are touched.(laughing). Last night's Chenrezik puja was most wonderful. My batteries are recharged from the energy felt there and I sand loudly and was remembering my vow to this most special group of friends here. I embrace, or at least try to learn of all the seemingly endless religions we are surrounded by. It seems new ones appear often now. All of these new age religions which are perhaps unique to many but looking deep, it is a "salad" of words and teachings already in existance, taken from various books. But, I think, and it is also beneficial because these also are foundations needed by those who still search. I think I have commented that I have outgrown all of the worldly labels but find my "home" in Mahayana Buddhism. It is as close as I can find in an organized group of people who parallel my personal version of truth. Spirituality and growth all are rootede from within the mind, and the heart, but we all have these human bodies and with them comes the esential need to be a part of others who share out journey. It helps us remain firm, helps us grow, and the shared energies are most refreshing and we gain more strength. Meditation is a tricky thing. The mind... so hard to get this little rascal to be still when we are surrounded by noises, distractions or semiconsious worries. I can assure you though, that when one meditates, with no thoughts whatsoever, one will find answers to questions you did not even know yet. Tapping into higher things and places, places we are now, have been, and will be. It is beautiful and each experience (at least to me) is different. One can transcend this tiny body and become a part of everything. The rumbling of spinning planets is heard, as is the spectrum of zipping never-ending streaks of colorful lights. The dna of the universe, and us also. Like little steps on a ladder... the universe, the body, and all the microscopic particles which make us. And this is only speaking from the perspective of the known dimentions, realms, and the such. Twice, (without any clue of how I found this), in meditation I found myself instantly drawn into a "place" of solid whiteness. The shade of this white was beyond anything we could duplicate here. I was an awareness. No body, no form, simply a part of this endless place which had no up or down,no left or right, no time nor distance. Nothing was seen yet without a single doubt, I knew I had meshed with this light and it was made of everything and every being which ever existed that represented love, virtue, compassion and goodness. It was the grandest of blessings to see/realize this place. Yet in an instant also... back to this reality, with stars in a dark sky. The people, cars, and all that comes with this adventure. One thing certain, is as of now, it must find me because I have no clue how to refind it. The harder we try, the more lost we get. Plus, this could easily become an ego issue which would be a danger. I see this and understand, and, if it is meant to be, I will find it again. If not, at least I know it is there and with it, hatred and greed, evil and chaos will never never win. It must exist as it is real and in a strange way necessary. For without the evil and hate, we would not know hot to feel and express love and kindness. But again,we manifest these negetives also, but they can never win. Simply call them challenges or sadnesses. Let them pass but never absorb. So simple.
