Wed: P90 Sculpt 1-2

Great job on getting it in . I just finished w/ my workout and it wasn't good..ugh.. whenever I take time away I have a hard time getting back in the swing of things. Now my goal for the next week is to do SOMETHING every day. Even if it's just 30 minutes. Anyway, I got an extra long one in today.. Like I mentioned before I did PUB and now I just finished w/ all section of Cardio Max. I do plan on getting some pelvic exercises in to...ugh.. been slacking there as well...grr...

Anyway, good job. Hope we have better workouts tomorrow!Darcy

Had only a very little time for a workout, had to take my 9 year old to my in-law's and then go to work so I did Sculpt 1-2 instead of 3-4. Was not very energetic at all (probably because I was rushing to get it in) and didn't do as well on things as I normally do but I got through it. I think my hands have been too wide for tricep pushups too. I was watching the tape closely today and while I'm keeping my elbows really tight to my body, my hands are spaced too far so I tried it with them a lot closer and holy cow I couldn't believe how much harder that was! Pushups in general felt really difficult today, everything did and then we ran really late at work too (trying to get the money to balance the accounting records). Tomorrow is again, a very rushed day because I'm having my new dishwasher installed in the morning. Tomorrow is cardio and I'll have just enough time, between the kids getting on the bus and the guy showing up, to get in about a 20 minute workout so I'll probably do a 1 mile video and maybe Ab Ripper 100 or 200. The guy will be here until it is just about time for me to leave for work then I come home, eat a quick lunch and go to my evening work location so no time for an evening workout. I did my whining yesterday and now I'm back on track. I will make time in the morning and it will happen! :-)

Hi Darcy,

Thank you and great job to you too!! Two workouts is really awesome! I know what you mean about getting back into it. Last time I did strength was Saturday because I skipped Monday so it was just hard finding my place/pace with it all. Doing it more consistently definitely helps me too. Your goal for next week is great! I'll look forward to hearing how you do with it. My goal is the exact same, preferably P90 each day but I'll be okay if I have to fit in something shorter some days.

Hi ,

30 minutes is perfectly fine for a workout. You might not be able to do all the ones that you want to in just 30 minutes, but if that's all you got to give then I say good for you!!!!

Thanks ! I'm now collecting short, but power packed workouts because so often all I do have is 30 minutes and I want to make the most of every single one!

Hi ,

30 minutes is perfectly fine for a workout. You might not be able to do all the ones that you want to in just 30 minutes, but if that's all you got to give then I say good for you!!!!

Thank you Carolyn!! P90 is making a HUGE difference in my strength and I'm really seeing it now!

Today's workout nearly didn't happen. My son did something really stupid and dangerous this morning that caused him and his sister to miss the bus and I needed to talk with his teachers about it because he was extremely upset (and so was I). I don't mean to be mysterious, I just don't want to post it because it is over (he apologized this evening, unprompted and on his own) and it was really awful, I want to keep it over in my own brain too. Anyway, by the time I got home I had only 1/2 hour before I had to leave for work so I made my smoothie snack and took off, promising myself I'd get a workout in tonight. This is the day I do 2 meetings 35 minutes from my house so I typically don't get home until at least 2 PM and then I also had a Brownie meeting at 3:45 so no time for anything but lunch and a few minutes relaxing between work and Brownies. I did, however, change out of my work clothes and put on my workout clothes for the Brownie meeting so I'd have fewer excuses! My husband had noted that my workout pants look like just casual pants I could wear any where and I just put on my workout shirt underneath my sweater. I already had dinner planned so after the meeting I quickly threw together dinner and then about 1/2 hour later I just went downstairs. It was an appointment I had to keep with myself. I'm tired of losing days on P90 that I feel like I have to make up later. I just want it done, that was my motivation! It was late though and the kids were getting ready for bed so I had to do a quick one and chose to do P90 Sculpt 1-2 instead of 3-4. I noticed a big difference in my strength between morning and evening and have noticed it other times too. I'm much better off working out in the morning but, if this is the time slot available then that it when it has to happen and tonight, it did!

Tomorrow is P90 Cardio 3-4. I am driving the kids to school again (DD has too much stuff she has to bring in to make her take the bus) though so I'm not sure I'll have enough time for 3-4 before work. If not, I'll do 1-2. I have to get my haircut after I grab a quick lunch, then I go work at another location at 4:45 so no time for an afternoon or evening workout so it has to happen tomorrow morning, I do not want to have another make up day! Less than 3 weeks to go!! :-)

I'm behind on emails again, will post responses to other topics soon.
