Guest guest
Thank you so much ! I got on the scale this morning and I am at my first goal weight of 150. Ya-hoo! I am so hoping I can lose another 5 pounds within the next month. I can squeeze into some 7/8's, but I am still not liking the way I look 100%. I want it all..LOL.. So, anyway I am going to see how I feel at 145. I am guessing that will be as low as I can go. Prior to kids when I ate super-strict and worked out a lot, I got down to 132. However, I didn't strength-train like I do now. I think the lowest I could go now is 140... I am still nursing though too, I am surprised my body has let me lose what I have. Sorry, I'm rambling - just excited!Darcy Way to go Darcy!! A good workout.. After two days off, I got a good workout in today. I did the first one when my youngest two were sleeping. I did Pyramid Upper Body. The chest and the biceps kills me on this one. I match Cathe for them, and then on the back, triceps, and shoulders I got one notch heavier. Then this evening while my baby was sleeping and the other two were playing, I did low impact step off of the Cathe's 4ds. I kinda fumbled around a lot, and dont feel like I got much in for cardio. Not sure if I like it or not. Maybe when I become more effecient at the combos, I will. I did like the shoulder section though.. and I thought the abs were okay as well. Nothing fantastic about them. I didn't feel it much in the abs w/ the bicycles though. My legs got tired, and it didn't seem to do anything for my abs..LOL.Anyway, I am glad to have gotten a good long workout in after two days off again :)Darcy
Guest guest
Congratulations, Darcy! We have similar weight goals, so it's nice to see someone a little ahead of me reaching those goals. -----Original Message-----From: exercisevideos [mailto:exercisevideos ]On Behalf Of Darcy LedmanThank you so much ! Guest guest
Thank you Stacey - Amazingly I was down another pound today! When I get serious I can really see results. I have been staying away from junk completely for just two days and have tracked what I ate. I ate about 2000 calories each day. It's funny though cuz I ate bad for a couple days and didn't exercise at all, but it didn't affect the scale (knock on wood), maybe cuz I do extra-long workouts to make-up for it afterwards.... Either way, it's a trend that has to be broke and hoping I have already! Carbs are my problem...fat is easy to stay away from. Darcy who is extra-motivated now darcy, congratulations!! you have been working hard since that little boy has been born--plus the other obstacles in your way--it was not easy!! i'm sure you can lose another 5!! stacey > > > Way to go Darcy!! > > > > > > * A good workout.. > > > > After two days off, I got a good workout in today. Guest guest
Hi Darcy, Congratulations!! You are doing so great! I did like what you're doing now with my goal weight. I knew I had been at 117 at felt pretty good there (better than at my official goal of 123) so after I got back to 123 (from 133) I worked to get to 117. When I got there I liked it but wondered if I could comfortably get lower so I tried for 114. That worked out and then I said, what if... and kept doing that! I eventually ended up where I am which is most comfortable right around 108 with a range of 107-112 (for those wondering, I'm 4' 11 3/4" and very "petite"). You're quite wise to be willing to settle on a weight that is higher than where you were in a different lifestyle. I was just reading a really interesting article about how to set your goal weight and one of the things mentioned was making sure your goal weight is healthy for your height and one you can comfortably live with now and can imagine maintaining 10 years from now. If anyone is interested, I can send the article to the list, there was more to it than just this. A good workout.. After two days off, I got a good workout in today.
