Thanks for introducing yourself. It's great to see our international

community of ers expanding.

As for relationships - you will one day find the perfect girl for

you. Don't worry, continue to expand your life with work, travel,

meeting more people. Also learn all you can about CMT, so you can

settle other's minds and explain your CMT to them. Most importantly,

be as comfortable as possible with your CMT, discussing it, and how

you are affected.

Because of the genetic inheritance factor, you may wish to read up in

Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (I think there is something in our

Files on this) PDG is a way to conceive where the chromosone

responsible for CMT is removed (it's also a type of invitro). This

then can result in NON-CMT affected offspring. There are centers

around the world for this.

I CAME DOWN WITH CMT + OTHER PROBLEMS WHILE MARRIED. MY WIFE BEING THE SPECIAL

PERSON THAT SHE IS TOOK IT IN STRIDE AND CARRieS ON THE BEST SHE CAN. I'M

UNABLE TO DRIVE OUR FAMILY VAN ANYMORE, SO WITH HER BAD EYESIGHT, SHE PUSHES

FORWARD. I CAN'T OR RATHER, DON'T WALK MUCH, NOW DAYS, SO SHE TAKES OFF TO

ENJOY A DAY ON HER OWN, TO PURSUE HOBBY AND OTHER INTERESTS.

WE DO FOOD SHOPPING TOGETHER, BECAUSE THE STORES IN OUR AREA HAVE ELECTRICAL

CARTS FOR US TO USE IN THEIR STORES. I USUALLY SPEND MORE WHEN I USE THE CARTS,

TOO.
